Alucobond® composite paneling consists of two sheets of smooth .02” aluminium thermobonded to a polyethylene core in a continuous process. This simple but extremely versatile product concept has been developed to provide a façade material with a host of distinct advantages for architects: it is stable and yet flexible, has a smooth surface and is available in a number of standard or individual colours; it is weather-resistant, unbreakable, shock-resistant, vibration absorbent and easily installed.
Alucobond® sheets are fitted to 50 x 50 x 1.6 mill finish box section aluminium frame, with 3mm black acrylic strips between panels to give the door clean, defined straight lines.
Alucobond® sheets are pre-finished with a premium Kynar® coil coating that is available in a spectrum of attractive standard colours along with any custom, colour you desire. To allow for imaginative, design and creativity, Alucobond® sheets come in a variety of lengths and widths. Alucobond® doors are manufactured at our Burleigh factory.
