If you are considering a unique, customised timber door Harris Doors can supply an unlimited range of craftsman built garage doors. Create your own, truly unique look. Built from only the finest Western Red Cedar, these doors are ideal for coastal residence and are naturally resistant to dry rot and white ants.All Cedarmasta® garage doors are manufactured at our factory from the highest quality 133 x 15mm VJ Western Red cedar. We use 15mm cedar as thinner cedar may be prone to cupping and splitting. All timber panels are attached using galvanized screws and high bondage, industrial strength glue from behind a strong 50 mm x 50 mm x 1.6 mm aluminium frame, enhancing the strength and durability of the door. Powder coating is also available for the frame and hardware if you wish.
We can also manufacture an open slatted Slatted Cedar panel door using 68 x 18mm DAR western red cedar glued with a 40mm gap, this offers excellent ventilation, some council requirements while maintaining your security. We use quality B&D Panelmasta hardware. The frame and hardware (where possible) are also powder coated to the colour of your choice (optional). Other designs, i.e. raised embossment, vertical slats or a door of your own design can also be tailored if required.
